A bit about me...

Hi, I'm Mikaela! Owner of Dolly's Dog Walking & Boarding Services. I have always been animal obsessed, i have owned horses and dogs my whole life.

I am a wife and mummy to two young boys and an all round animal lover.

We are a real outdoors family, who love nothing more than long walks, seeing to our family horses and our son’s football matches on weekends. Which suits having dogs as they can come too!

I have worked in rescue kennels my whole adult life, caring and rehabilitating them and helping them find new homes. So i have lots of experience with dogs that have not had the best start in life. Which has taught me, no two dog's are the same and they all have their own quirks and ways. It's important to me to take the time to get to know a dog as i want them to be as comfortable around me as possible.

I am canine first aid trained, DBS checked and have an OFQUAL level 2 qualification in canine welfare and behaviour.

I have always trained my own dogs to a very high standard. Dolly's is named after my beautiful tri coloured beagle Dolly. Who i sadly lost to heart failure in 2020. She was my lifetime dog and it made sense to name what i love to do after her.
